Smoothie bowl
Serves: 1 smoothie bowl
Prep time: 10 mins
Ingredients:

1 banana

2/3 cup reduced fat milk or low fat yoghurt

1/2 cup frozen berries

1 cup baby spinach leaves

4 ice-cubes
-
1/2 cup wholegrains (e.g. rolled oats, chia seeds or muesli)

1/2 cup fresh fruit of your choice (to garnish)

1 tbsp shaved coconut (to garnish)

2 tbsp unsalted mixed nuts (to garnish)
Method:
- Place banana, milk/yoghurt, frozen berries, baby spinach, wholegrains and ice-cubes into a blender. Blend until smooth.

Pour smoothie into a serving bowl.

Garnish with chopped, fresh fruit, shaved coconut and nuts as you desire.
